About our birds
At Roman Metalworks, we strive to produce high-quality products that will bring lasting beauty to your outdoor spaces for many, many years. They are 2D sculptures designed to present a realistic silhouette when viewed from a distance upon mounting. We start by cutting them from thick, sturdy, 12 ga. steel. We then apply a high-grade powder finish to protect the metal from the environment. After the metal is protected, we paint on the accents. All of our birds are painted the same on both sides, so they can be mounted in any direction. They have an attached metal base for mounting on trees, fence posts, porch railings, etc. The base utilizes just one mounting screw which is included with your purchase. All you need is a screwdriver! It's as easy as that!

Hi!! Here at Roman Metalworks we have a love for birds and nature. We enjoy birdwatching and studying nature. We use photos that we have taken for our inspiration. All of our artwork is designed and created by us in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, USA, in our workshop surrounded by many different kinds of beautiful birds and wildlife. We love coming up with new ideas and turning them into art that our customers can enjoy in their yards for years to come.
